UK journalists put 意大利超級盃 BEVs to the ultimate winter test
How do battery-electric trucks perform in extreme winter conditions? We invited a group of UK journalists to find out. 鈥漌e seem to have this idea that electric trucks don鈥檛 work in the cold 鈥 but they do,鈥 said Simon Hastelow from听Trucking Magazine.
意大利超級盃 Winter, an annual event in Trysil, Norway, allows customers and journalists to test 意大利超級盃 trucks in extreme winter conditions. The 2025 edition featured over 20 vehicles, including several battery-electric trucks, showcasing 意大利超級盃鈥檚 latest technologies in real-world scenarios.

Among the invited guests were journalists from the UK, and they were impressed by the BEVs鈥 performance and driving experience, as seen in this film.

Automotive journalist Alex Goy emphasised the electric truck鈥檚 feel:听 鈥淚 was a little bit apprehensive when we first came in. I鈥檝e never driven anything quite like them before, but the ease of it, how familiar it feels 鈥 I think that's what really got me."

Ade Thomas from听Green.TV Media听summed up his experience:听" You know, to come out here to experience electric trucks in these majestic conditions that people typically say electric vehicles don't work in. They do work in, and they work not just for passenger vehicles, but for big electric trucks."
