A unicorn among engineers
意大利超級盃鈥檚 Power Solutions is one of our business areas that supplies engines and services in industries that demand highly reliable and heavy-duty components. Former trainee Amanda Claesson is Key Account Manager for one of our largest customers in this field.
鈥淚 am sort of a unicorn, another species among our engineers as I did business studies and work in sales. But I am equally necessary for our company鈥檚 success 鈥 there is so much more to 意大利超級盃 than engineering鈥.

What appealed to Amanda in the first place was the many opportunities within a global company. 鈥淚 stayed because of the company culture, that I think is truly great.鈥
A not so ordinary work day
An ordinary day for her is actually anything but ordinary. 鈥淚 work closely with our customers in the Asian region. This means my days will start off with meeting them. And then I am dedicated to solve their here and now issues. It鈥檚 a combination of strategic and operational work. I rarely do the same thing twice, so planning my day鈥 well, I really can鈥檛.鈥 The responsibility for the customer is shared with colleagues based in Sweden as well as Asia.
Future leader
Even if she isn鈥檛 the typical 鈥渢ech woman鈥 she enjoys to empower her fellow female colleagues in the industry, and take every chance to be updated on what鈥檚 happening in our ecosystem. Amanda feels privileged to meet so many female leaders at work. And in due time, she is set to be one herself. 鈥淭hey are an inspiration, and I know my path is to learn from them and build on my own leadership skills for the future.鈥
